    Fence costs?

I’m looking to put up about 1200 ft of this fence and I’m curious about the per ft cost?

lot of variables.... what size pipe? are you in rock or dirt? any big elevations changes? do they need to do any clearing? 2 3/8" pipe is about $2 per foot by itself.

        good point.
2 3/8' pipe, no elevation changes. minimal rock. no clearing needed.

Used number #1, 2 3/8s drill stem is going for $75 dollars a stick from my source. 3 pipes horizontal with 10ft centers and 10 ft post for verticals say 5ft in 5ft out is roughly $12,000. Labor is going to be the expensive part. Lots of cuts, copes and welding. Might look at new round tubing, female and male collars on drill stem add into the labor and waste on projects like that. Hope it helps.

$16 per ft new pipe material only.
            Prob $18 labor.
Right at $34 a foot, no paint.
            Add 5-7$ for paint.

Yep. I paid $35/ft for some three rails with 2 7/8th pipe earlier this year. Probably should have been more but my neighbor owns a fencing company and didn't have to haul equipment or labor. They all live down the road in a camp at his place.

Put up a toprail with no climb wire !
Best deal by far, for a quality fence.
                    Prob $24-$26 painted

Got a quote today for pipe top rail with no climb.

$7 a foot labor and I supply the pipe and fence. Will have my boys paint it. Sounded like a decent price to me. Already have the pipe laying out there waiting on the job so don’t have to source that.
