    Lure painting

I have a few lures that I'm painting that I wanted to post. First a 6" glide bait as a speckled trout.

Next a 4" jointed wake bait in Sexy Shad. Can't wait to throw this one at some redfish soon.

                    Looking good Kevin.

I still haven't started. I did run air to my bench so I won't have to roll up hose every time

Are you dipping them when done to seal them?

I've seen spray sealer and stuff you can just dip the bait in. From what I can tell dipping is much easier

I used a spray lacquer on those two. I use two part epoxy on most of them. The dip is UV clear, you have to put them on a slow turner under a UV light. I get great results with the two part epoxy, you just hang them to dry and the epoxy will even out and drip off the end. Those two are already put together so I couldn't hang them, the epoxy would get in the hinge. I use a 30 minute Devcon. Bob Smith is another popular brand.
