Occasionally. Had an elk in the highway in front of the ranch last week. We’ll get some axis from time to time, not often enough . Neighbor gets a lot more than we do, so they’re around.

Along 470 east of tarpley there is more animals than south and west of tarpely.

Some of that steep terrain is good for aoudad sheep but not the best whitetail habitat. Buddy had a ranch between tarpley and utopia south of 470 on seco creek and there just wasn’t a lot of deer there. Some sheep up in the hills but scarce on whitetail ( by hill country standards ) and a free ranging axis or two but not many.

Quality for the most part is typical hill country stuff. Lots of 110” bucks with a 120” being a pretty decent one.
