Wife's '06 Accord gave her a blinking oil light the other night and so she stopped and checked an sure enough the oil was too low to show on the dipstick. It was also throwing a P0420 code which is pretty common on her car when the fuel goes below half a tank I suspect due to it being a California emissions car that doesn't like our fuel blends here.
She didn't see any puddle on the ground. And when I looked closely the underside was clean and dry.
I swapped out the PCV valve and while I was at it changed the plugs thinking that if it was sucking oil they would be fouled, but they weren't. (I added a can of Seafoam and also replaced the air filter which was pretty restricted)
It isn't using any oil that I can tell at least at a rate that is noticeable.
SO...
Do you think I fixed it? or could it be something else?
