Thursday morning will find me in a field out west - no idea if there will be birds or not. Either way I’m excited to kick-off another season!

I get excited and love wing shooting. I also take my neighbor and his dog. He's 88 this year and is so excited he can't hardly stand it. We normally hunt public land and he can't walk much so the shooting is pretty scarce but he just loves going and I enjoy seeing him have fun. Hopefully we can wack a few the first couple of days.
      Good luck to everyone!

            We can hunt another time.
3” in Coleman last night! They desperately needed it!

My tanks filled up in may, washed out fences, hail storm tore up my camper, but they were going down fast.
From what the radar looked like this morning we should have some run off.

Good on you for doing that for him. I'm sure he appreciates it more than you'll ever know.

A bunch of us are going down to the Slack ranch again for the 1st time in a while, including our dads. I don’t expect to kill a dove, but we’re gonna party in the rain!

I was right about the rain. It didn't amount to much. I guess you could say I was right as rain.haha.......dumb joke.

Thank God. Looks like my opener plans are pushed off a week or two. Don't shoot all the Coleman birds before I get there!
