Boat battery charging questions?

I'm a new boat owner 2017 crestliner.
The boat has a intergraded battery that you plug to and extension cord. Does the the battery switch has to be off or on when charging?

Depends on which side of the switch the charger is wired into. Most likely the battery side so it should charge with the switch off.

The charger should be wired straight to the battery posts, so it doesn't matter. I would suggest always turning your batt switch off though for storage.
