Got some good news yesterday.

I got home and there was a message on the answering machine. Humana wanted me to call and discuss the claims on Alecia. I'm thinking to myself, "Well, here we go.". I called and the young lady was very nice and told me everything was taken care of. And if I get any bills to call and they will handle them, but I shouldn't be getting any. I told her I had already paid the $90 ER copay and she said I would be reimbursed. So after an ambulance ride to the ER, another ambulance ride from Allen to Dallas, 2 weeks in ICU and everything associated with it, I have a balance of $0. I just about fainted. I have never seen an insurance company that paid 100% on anything. I haven't paid any out of pocket or anything.
