Surge suppression does fix what the issue is with inrush and loads coming online.

How does that surge suppressor get wired in? Hard wired between the connection box and transfer switch/ distribution panel?

My electrician put it on its own breaker and it is mounted inside the panel box

              Run them through a UPS

It would need to be an active filtering type, not passive.

Get you one of these regardless. If you are frying electronics I would look into how the generator is wired or have an electrician go thru it. I have done dozens of portable generator installs and never had this issue you speak of. I could also give you some pricing on doing whole home surge protection as well.

They sell a 30a and a 50a version of this. If you only want surge protection while using the generator.

Another option is a pure sine inverter wired in somewhere, and run your sensitive stuff off of it.
Would require extension cords unless you had someone trick out the install so you had certain breakers running off it.

A Keurig is sensitive, I have heard that an LED light can fry them or cause them to do strange things.
