Default Moving to Seattle!

Well, I have decided to move to Seattle as soon as I can get our house sold and some lose ends tied up; hopefully in 30-60 days.

I looking forward to seeing those of you who attend Bownanza this weekend.

I was stationed on one of two ships home ported in Bremerton. I remember my first set of dummy orders was for Yuma, AZ. What the heck was a sailor going to do there. Then the real orders came in for Bremerton. Where in the heck is Bremerton, WA, says me? Well...they couldn't have put me in a better place. Back then WA wasn't liberal. Lots of hunting and fishing... and beauty.

You got 3 out of 4, not bad

Washington state has no state income tax, sales tax similar to Texas and property taxes are a fraction of what we pay here.

I gave him the benefit of the doubt by suggesting it was Melinda Gates but $100 billion is a $100 billion.

It’s not bad on the outskirts of Seattle, mainly Seattle proper that’s so bad. Honestly you’d be surprised by how conservative most outliers are from the big city. I’d move there in a heartbeat if all our family and our family business wasn’t in Texas...

It's probably still not liberal, once you get outside of Seattle. We went to Oregon some time back, no question the liberals are all over Portland like rats. But once you get out away from the liberal city, it's a very different story. They are far from liberal and hate liberals probably more than we do here. Because the liberals are making the laws they are supposed to abide by.

We just don't get to hear about life in the northwest other than the loonies in the two big liberal cities up there.

If it is health related I can certainly understand based on their laws.

I was there while the Kitty Hawk was in dry dock, hated that place when I was sober. I did get cut with a straight razor by one of the local sh*#heads that liked to hang out just outside the gates.

I missed the hunting season by just a couple of weeks, maybe that would’ve changed my opinion of the place had I been able to go hunting.

It's a good time to be a degenerate in the area...200 Seattle police retired / left the force this past week.

You will literally be able to whoop arse without any adverse claims as no one will be there to take a report...consider it a bonus along with the cheap real-estate market. Can't blame you for taking the opportunity.
