Houston,is the same way,but live in the county you can shoot your bow.
I wa shooting one night in my back yard and someone behind me called the cops.he showed up and told me he was called out for gun shots.We laughed,found out he Bow hunted and was having issues with his bow.Got him striagthed out a few days later(the next time he was called out to my place).He also informed the someone that was calling that it was legal for a Bow as long as I was not shooting at anyones house.

Yeah prob shooting a Mathews bow and he thought you were some amateur playing with a kids bow, up to no good.
