Anyone fish Hagerman NWR around Big Mineral Creek? Looking to catch crappie from the bank

Not yet, but I bet its getting about that time. I've been thinking about taking my kayak up that way to see if they are shallow yet.

Harris creek and big mineral creeks you can fish from the bank. I’ve caught crappie at both creeks in the past. We went Sunday and caught 10 it was a little slow. The lake is down about 2.5 ft and Harris is a little low.

I've never fished there that time of year but that should be good stuff in the spawn.
