Shot this buck today. We didnt get up this am because of the moon. We got up around 730 cooked breakfast watched some tv and got in the stand at around 9. We originally had just planned to hunt for an hour and then corn the roads and head back around 10. Then get in the stand at noon znd hunt till dark. Well at 10:05 this buck busted out of the cedars acting like a blood hound running around. I actually shot at him on the run at 225 ish yards then reloaded and shot again at around 175. I was suprised to see both shots were fatal he just didnt know it. He isnt a giant but has alot of character. I also seen a perfect broadhead scar on his shoulder. Cool little palo pinto buck with my favorite cartridge the 257bee.
