        I’ve always wondered this myself....

I’d imagine they’re fine. Built pretty **** well.

Built to live through it, some stuff wont make it but the rigs should be fine. Prayers to the guys out there who live this every year...

They don't evacuate? If not they must have some bad*** videos!

As far as I know most do evac, I was talking about the rigs themselves more than the folks out there.

DP systems work amazing. Also most the time they will de-attach from the well and move away from the path of the storm.

I’m sure a few platforms will get tore up. As far as actual rigs go, drill ships and semis have more than likely shut in and off location. Any jackups would have shut in and evacuated.

Don’t know what the status of any of stacked fleets off Cameron are these days but would
Imagine it could be pretty ugly tomorrow morning.

My buddies brother is on a drill ship
And they are 90 miles south of Matamoras. They had to move twice due to the size of the storm.

Wells usually get shut in and rigs evacuated. Mobile units just get out of the way.
