    Epic Elk Photo Trip

Just got back from a hunting trip to Nebraska, and made a pit-stop in Colorado on the way back for some elk rut photography. It was a pretty epic few days, and I'm sure this thread will get lengthy as I process photos. Here are a few early favorites.

I'll continue to add some photos as I get through the 1500 or so frames that I shot

Nicely done. That 100-500mm is just a phenomenal piece of glass. You're getting the most out of it!

It really does a fantastic job. I feel like it holds it's own pretty well compared to a lot of the guys I saw running around with the big 600-800mm lenses, plus I don't need a tripod.
