    Rain gear help..

My kuiu rain system that i bought off a fellow tbhr for some reason out of the blue started leaking at all the seams. I used it a lot and never an issue then just randomly it started all at once. Anything i can do to save them? I love how light they are

Don’t they have a lifetime warranty?

I believe they do 1) however I’m not the original owner 2) there’s very few things covered under warranty.

I’d recommend calling them. I bet they’d help.

Nik-Wax has some products that may help.

Call Kuiu, if they don't help....hit the with camp dry, sell them on FB .....and buy some Cabelas Space rainwear.

All rainwear sucks, cabelas is the best bang for the buck!

+1 you have to do it every few years of some jackets. Same for silnylon tarps and some tents.

If you can apply it well and get it to lay flat, gorilla brand makes a clear gear repair tape that you could just go over the seams with. I shot a small buck years ago and the string snagged the zipper pull of the chest pocket on my FL rain jacket. It removed the entire zipper assembly. I just taped over the slot it left and it is going strong to this day.

First, I would call Kuiu and I bet they take care of it ASAP.

If you want to DYI, the DWR coating probably needs to be reapplied. Here is an article explaining the process.

My zipper broke so I bought this one in white to match my vehicles...

So it sounds like high priced stuff with a BS warranty. That sucks. Appreciate you sharing that fact.

                              Good luck.
