This is wise. Shoot your doe then a spike if you’re lucky then maybe you’ll have opportunities at pigs.

The 7 or less with a 12 inch spread concept is kind of a low opportunity. I wonder how many bucks have been taken that meet that criteria since they put it in place at Daughtrey a few years ago.

We are up and moving now! Headed to get breakfast tacos then to Daughtrey for check in.

We drove through Calliham unit last night ended up seeing quite a few ducks, 4 deer, 4 turkeys, and a ballsy javelina that was walking through camp about 20 yards from people camping.

Got to our blinds got corn out. They had ground blinds set up for us, but by the time I parked the truck and walked back to it the wind had ripped the front loops out of the blind.

So here’s a pic of my view for the evening. Will try to get my pop up set up tonight if we don’t harvest tonight.

We did see a good 7 point as we were driving through the park and a 16inch wide 8 bedded down with a doe.

Good luck. I’m in Bee county and the bucks have been moving all day in search of doe.

If you get bored, show up a little more of your rifle set up. I'm intrigued.

If the wind would lay some should be perfect. Of course I didn't get drawn again.

No deer tonight my dad saw 1 doe and 5 different bucks.

I ended up shooting a pig right at dark.

Back at location now after an uneventful and early New Year’s Eve night. Hoping to start 2021 off right.
