Prayers sent. My Adult daughter is in the hopsital not doing well and not Covid related. I called and they said NO, can not see her. Frustrating. Knowing minimal and locked out. I feel and understand with limitations as I can not be in your shoes nor you in mine. God Bless.

Wife just had emergency heart surgery this morning
She needed a onex heart valve replacement and a CABG bypass
Going in to icu for 3-4 days now, wish I could be there at the hospital but this dang COVID 19 has the hospital on lockdown ( so zero visitors)
Hate just sitting here and having to wait for icu nurses to call with updates

Anyone had this surgery?

Sorry to hear that. Day after tomorrow is the 1 year anniversary of my On-X aortic valve replacement. Not fun to go through, but better than the alternative!

My Dad has had the same valve replaced twice. The first was a single bypass procedure about 15 years ago and they replace a valve using a pig valve. They said that would last 10 years and sure enough 10 years later he needed it replaced again.

The second time the did the TAVR procedure and went through his leg and replaced it via a catheter. All turned out well and I pray the same for your wife.
