After market car alarm

Folks all this theft is gonna get worse with groups of people literally getting dropped off in neighborhoods in addition to our own home grown thieves. Lights, converters, wheels, tailgates, the whole dang shooting match in some instances getting stolen.
What’s a good after market alarm that won’t go off when a fly lands on it but will when a hand lands on it? We both have Large vehicles and both won’t fit in the garage. So mine stays out and the sequoia stays in.
What’s the g s suggestions?

I'd get you a good home camera/motion system and keep an eye on things that way. Nobody listens to car alarms anymore and they won't deter anyone determined. By the time you hear the alarm they're gone anyway.

What about when you’re away from home.

If you get REALLY lucky, MAYBE someone in the parking lot will bat an eye at the alarm. Even then, they ain't going to do anything most likely. It takes a cat thief 30 seconds with a sawzall. I'd save my money but if an alarm makes you feel safe, go for it.
