Man that sucks. Just the other day I was thinking about getting rid of the spare vehicle but reading this has me thinking otherwise.

If you have a vehicle that doesn’t require a computer to run it
I would hold on to at least one

Wait till the valve springs start breaking , collapsing on the new 2021 chevys. No recall yet as per a service manager here in Houston. They will fix one side and wait till the other side fails to fix it.

Hope you’re not waiting on a computer chip. It takes at a minimum 2 months to make 1 chip.

I've been waiting on a track for my superduty sun roof since April. Finally got it scheduled for repair late this month.

                Worldwide chip shortage isn’t helping…
There’s a reason China is pushing so hard to take back Taiwan. Taiwan produces the majority of semiconductors for the entire world’s supply.

It is not just chips. I broke the windshield in my new ram trx. Mid sept to get a replacement

That’s what it’s looking like unfortunately, 2 more months in the service bay,
Started looking at buying a new truck, only inventory starts @ $77,000 for a 3/4 diesel, no gas in the area
