    Weatherford Eats

Looking for a good lunch spot in Weatherford, TX. for a family lunch next Saturday. Trying to avoid the chain style restaurants and looking for something local. Open to most anything - steaks/grill, seafood, Mexican, Italian, etc.

Flames and Zenos were already suggested. Anything else…?

    Thanks I’m advance!

When I'm up that way, I always stop at Boo Ray's.

We like Rio Mambo on south Main for Mexican. In addition to the traditional stuff their Mexican style seafood dishes are quite good. If you want a local place with great burgers and such try Shep’s just east of downtown.

Edit: x2 on Fire Oak Grill

Boo Rays and La Playa Maya in Hudson Oaks.

Parker County Ale House in Aledo has a burger cooked in duck fat that is pretty awesome.

Shep’s makes a good burger, boiling pot for good seafood. Both in Weatherford.

Ive lived here my entire life.. This is what I would suggest..

Fire oak grill is real good but expensive...

                        Golden moon, amazing asian..

Beefmaster on N main. Steaks and burgers but good ..

                        Mesquite pit... Weatherford staple..

                        Hutches Pie shop for breakfast..

Wide open here depending on flavor and family ages

Country style cafe r&k. There are several but locally owned or mesquite pit for little higher. There is a new place just off downtown that is in that league as well beefmaster.

There’s a little taco shop on the square or los vaqueros in willow park. Hadn’t been since they moved

Best choices are. Nice Italian try Zenos on the square or Cibis in willow park.
And Ginza for French and Japanese is also a locally owned by a couple of great guys with excellent food

Second the vote for Parker County brewing. Kids enjoyed it and had more of their beer and pizza than I can count when I was in town when my dad was sick. If you need snack stuff and just want good Suasage or snack sticks for the road stop in at Teels Custom meats too.
