What are these straps for?

Does anybody know what these Velcro straps are for? I’ve got my first upland bird hunt coming up and have no idea what half the features are on this vest I bought 😂

1. Custom fit for a tactical reload shell on each side
2. Holder of bird lanyards or call lanyards
3. Annoying velcro strips right in the middle of your torso for making noise, getting hung on everything, and generally pissing you off

The Q&A from the webpage you posted says it's to open up those front pockets to access more shells then tighten back

They are for holding a bottle of water. Velcro strap goes below the lid.

The butt goes into the pocket below the straps and the strap goes around the forearm of the gun to hold it in place while you take a leak * or drink your beer

Its to hold the top of whatever is intended to fit in those small elastic straps. Im not an upland bird hunter so i can only come up with stuff that fits in that elastic..that i cant post.
