Vise was a Yost 6” and was $240. Too much for me but a fair price.

I called on the Swaro optics. Its a ST80 spotting scope. He said $1200 but taking offers. Looks to be about a $3000 scope new. Stated that it is in mint condition in the box. If I was wanting a spotting scope...that looks to be a decent sounding deal.

The zeiss 20x60 binos were $2600. Avout 5k online. I picked up the Fero Z-24 for $380 and they bring about $1000-$1200

Makes you wonder. With mic and stuff, maybe a radio/podcast guy? Talk about some experiences to share about.

WOW! That is one heck of an estate sale! Now that I'm in that GOF club, I find more time to go to things like this. I went to one in the Keller area a year or so ago and did pick up a grizzly skull. I'm a sucker for stuff like that. And to think that some day our boys will be fighting over who doesn't get all the crap their parents have accumulated over the years.

As I near retirement, I'm trying my best to lean the direction of minimalism when it comes to "useless stuff" but **** I could do myself some damage at an estate sale like that. Dude had eclectic taste. One of the few times you could say, there's something there for just about everyone.

Couldn’t help but look the owner up.

Mr. Nathan Newbern must’ve been a cool dude.
