That is great. Just got to Denver. Layover here for 2.5 hrs then final leg into Omaha. My buddy said a farmer just got out the corn at one place fully yesterday which is great news for us. We have two spots that are heavy timber which will be good for when the orange army marches out in the morning. Will update tomorrow morning from the stand if I have signal.

If I’m not mistaken, it is illegal to bait deer in Iowa. I grew up there and have hunted several seasons.

When I say they get the corn out, they cut all the standing corn in their fields. Not as in they have put corn out for the deer.

I do believe I am in the honey hole for squirrels. They’re everywhere. Deer however have been scarce. Beautiful cold crisp morning. Gonna sit till noon and grab a quick bite and get back at it.
