My Dad passed away

Sunday morning at about 0625 I woke to check on my father who had been under hospice care for three days and he had gone to glory. Only fitting he waited until his favorite day of the week and to suprise my grandmother on Mother’s Day. He was the kindest, sweetest most giving human I have ever known. Im kinda numb but I know in my heart it was his time.

Very similar to my dad's passing back in 2010. I felt a.little relief to be honest and I have always felt a bit guilty about that. Dad wasn't able to do any of the things he loved for his last year.
Anyway, I am truly sorry for your loss bud. I wilm keep you in my prayers.

My dad passed away suddenly 10 years ago last month. Very few days go by that I don’t think of my mom and dad. I was so blessed to have parents that knew me so well and still loved me. I’m sure you feel the same way. Thank God for the time you had with him and that he died in a place where he was loved.
