I shot my biggest axis at the lease this weekend. He was really worn down, I’m assuming from old age. We have trail cam pics of him from 4 years ago, and he was mature then. I have seen him couple times over the past few years, but he was on the move or out of range. I saw him from about 500 yards during deer season and his beams still had a lot of growing to do. He finally slipped up this weekend, and I got him with my rifle. I couldn’t be happier with him!
