Stonewall meat market. Best dried sausage I've ever had.

Curious what your reason is for excluding Hudson’s?

I stopped using Hudsons as well. I started using Hunters Creek in Liberty Hill. Fajitas aren't as good but **** their burger patties are on a different level. Also love their carnitas.

I too have stopped using Hudson’s. When I was told and have seen customers deer laying outside in the heat till they take them back. And was told they spray outside on and around meat for bugs. Hard pass.

My favorite is Shannon’s in Cherokee. I used Griffiths in Burnet in 2019 kinda by accident. They don’t take new customers. I walked in cuz I was in a hurry to get my deer in storage and done (I was so excited taking pics and all of my giant deer I lost track of time and it was getting warm). They did a great job. But they are very expensive.

I haven’t tried the one in Liberty Hill. Maybe I’ll try em once. But I’ll gladly drive out of my way to go to Shannon’s. Travis and his crew do a fantastic job. Try their antelope eggs. Lots of them.

                            Brizzindines slim Jim’s are awesome.
Hunters creek summer sausage and fajitas are great.

I’m sure they had some. I’m a fan of their smoked sausage and chop steaks. I do my own processing but will always take some meat up there before or after deer season to get the above made.
