Default Harvest or Kill...

When we take the life of an animal have we “ Harvested “ or Killed it? I ran a search for a thread like this but found no results ( I’m sure that there have been many), but I didn’t find them! I don’t cater to ( pc Craziness) but I don’t see anything on hunters using a ( sling blade or “ some call it a Keizer blade “) to hunt with.

So which is it if you have taken the life away from an animal?

Harvest is not a correct word for killing a deer.
If you're going to quote definitions, you should quote both entries.

Harvest is not a correct word for killing a deer.
Kill wild animals.
Harvest meat from animals you raise.

So low fence = kill
High fence = harvest

But now it's "To the conservation “manager”, “harvesting” or “wildlife management” means to kill an animal so as to control a population or an ecosystem." Which is just trying to be PC

Hunters kill animals. We don't go to Africa to harvest an animal for the tribes to eat. They can kill/harvest themselves. I doubt anyone really needs the meat. Meat is a side reason we use to justify killing, when we don't need justification.

"Slaughtered" applies occasionally, but nobody wants to hear of that.

Keep eating your store bought beef, pork, and chicken.

Provided from hired "killers".
