Don't count out the Taurus TX22. I've put 4-500 rounds through mine without a hiccup. Comes with two 16rd mags, adapter to run a can, really good trigger, accurate, and can be found for $299.

Rugers are sweet shooters. I have a few mkii and iii super accurate. I also have an mp22compact that will eat everything and has put down many snared coyotes. The tx22 is probably the best value for the money for sure very reliable pistol.

Looking for a Mark IV Tactical. They are hard to find.

I don't think you can beat the price/performance of the TX22 right now.
I keep debating picking up a Mark IV tactical... mostly because they look slick but they are a bit hard to find right now and I do like how well my Taurus TX22 has been running (it will pretty reliably run subsonic rounds with my YHM Stinger).

I know you didn’t mention it in the OP but the Walther P22 is nice.

This is on my friend's trust. Hollywood quiet, but finicky.
