Default Lake Conroe catfish report?

Bass fishing seems to be so good there is little info on catfish? Anybody been on catfish in the last week or so? Where did you find them? Not location, just depth or on bulk heads etc. Wife and I are going tomorrow.

let the water warm up a few more degrees here in the next week or so to start the shad spawn. The Catfish will be on any bulkhead with shad.

Shad are on bulkheads in the evening. Cats should be on them. Not many shad in the morning yet around me.

I've been catching some while crappie fishing in the backs of creeks full of eggs. I'm sure they are on the bulk heads now, I need to give it a try.

I had a good time fishing the bulk heads last year with my son from a kayak on Conroe. Can't wait to do it again soon.

Catfish were good today off bulkhead. Fished a channel to stay out of the wind and they were biting on stink bait all day long. Caught some good size blues.

These were on bulkhead on south end of the lake. Sat in on spot and caught over 20 in a couple of hours in the middle of the day.
