Ok, just got back from a funeral/memorial at Ft Sam Houston, the drive from Austin to SA was fantastic! So, I talked to BIL there and got more info. It wasn't cut, this pic was when they tried to weigh it and it broke the scale. He stunk and was left for the buzzards. Also said they shot another, not as big but pretty big. This one nicknamed Hipo for how big his mouth would open; cutters broke made him look like a hippo's mouth.

I don't think I've ever seen one that big. Holy smokes. Trying to hang it up by the coat hanger the guy in the bottom left of the picture is holding probably wouldn't have worked anyway! LOLComment
