    Sandhills vs Deer at Feeders

When we first bought our place almost 20 years ago we would hear Sandhills flying very high and would really have to strain to see them. Fast forward to a couple of years ago I had my first small group that I would see flying low and occasionally would see on the ground. This year they seem to be everywhere and in groups of from three to 20+. I have noticed that my deer, for the most part, don’t want to have anything to do with them. They have chased deer off by merely flying low overhead and “honking “. Also if they land at at the feeders, the deer take off. They are becoming a real pain in the a**. Is anyone else seeing this same thing and if so what are you doing to “legally “ combat them?
