My son has shot other animals (javi & ram) but took his first deer with a bow last night on our new lease. He made a great 30 yard shot, deer might have went another 40.
Another great God given experience of spending time with my son. We watched about 16 deer total (6 different bucks), 10 turkeys, 2 raccoons. We even got some great shots and video of the young bucks sparing!
