I wouldn't. I haven't tried that one but read some reviews that It wouldn't keep uniform temps and I've tried little giants. Junk. Hovabator genesis 1588 is a good unit. I have 3 of them and I believe that's the one Chew bought. Costs more than the others but worth it imho.

I have this incubator.
I wound up with a sixty percent hatch rate in shipped eggs.
From everything I’ve read this is about average.

Second batch went in yesterday

I agree Bob! You have to many. Feel free to drop some off at my house.

Chew. I did both. I plucked some and skinned a few. Plucking was easy. Just make sure the water isn’t over 160. If it’s too hot the skin will tear easily.

My Quail Adventure

Well this thread also inspired me to give them a try. I had an old "little giant" incubator from the old days when my son was little we hatched ducks and chickens. Ordered 50 eggs from Myshire and they will hatch this weekend. I will post my results on the hatch and how they are doing along the way. Thanks Chew for the inspiration.

My birds are 8 weeks old and I’m not getting the eggs I expected.
I have 3 hens and one Roo to a cage.
I have 11 hens and I’m only getting three to four eggs a day.

Any advice on what might be wrong?

Cages

Here’s my set up. Top pic.
Bottom pic is my old cage.
I’m taking the top portion off and using the bottom section for a grow out pen.
If someone wanted the top section they could come and pick it up.
