Bow Case Using A Pelican V800 2-Gun Case

I wanted a better system to keep my bow, accessories, arras, bino's / rf and a minimalist tool box. I had an skb case which was great, but always had issues securing my quiver and stabilizer in the case.

I also carried a fairly large bow tool box with me and an arra tube, then the binos/rf were in their harness laying out or in a duffle bag. It was just too much stuff to keep up with un-necessarily. Even some of the higher end cases ($500+) didnt really have what I was looking for. I found a couple youtube videos and decided it was worth a try. I picked up my case at Cabalas for under $200, I had some points and a coopin code.

Pretty simple instructions. You need some chalk and a couple snap-off razor knife thingies.

Lay your equipment out one piece at a time, then carefully start cutting out the pieces.

If you need to glue some of it back together or want to put a floor in your cut-outs, I found Shoe Goo work pretty good. Sorry I didn't take pics during the process.

Not perfect, and I would prolly lay out some stuff a little different if I had to do it over. You can buy replacement foam if you really fubar it , for about $50

I did it for a pair of rifles in a pelican. Didn't turn out bad at all.

Looks like you could store a few dozen more arrows! Nice work. Will be interested to see if it's holds arrows tight over the long haul.

Originally, I had a compact case, but I discovered it was too think once I had it cut out

That is very dense foam that I cut arra slots in.....and they fit tight.

It's all sammich'd between foam so it should be good. Test run in a couple weeks.
