      Saw an interview with him one time and he stated that he regretted that role the rest of his career. Could never live it down.

                  Outside of Deliverance, I always remembered him playing the Dean in the Rodney Dangerfield flick Back to School. He also played Rudy's father in Rudy and as mentioned Otis in first 2 Superman movies with Christopher Reeve and Gene Hackman.

                    I read that the "squeal like a pig" scene was not in the script. It just kinda developed while shooting the movie. I always found that the development of an unplanned famous scene to be interesting.
