    Kind of .... I talked to our lease boss about 30 mins ago. He spoke with our landowner around 6pm this evening. He said it's not looking good for our place. They were pushing fire breaks then. Wind was taking it right in our direction.
    He hasn't heard anything since.

                            I was over there trying to check a well earlier today, stopped in at the command post, the fire was about 3 mi. east of the 163/2469 intersection. They were having to re-route heavy equipment around through Barnhart to Mertzon then back west up 2469 to get crews ahead of the fire. This was around 6 p.m. crews weren't expected to be in place until around 8 p.m. no updates since then.

                              Irion country (Scott Ranch) fire update:

                              10,000 acres burned, 40% contained.

                              It is currently burning 12 miles northeast of Barnhart.
