Need to park one there every day and lay in wait for them. Then deal with them permanently.
Our "justice" system rewards thieves and drug addicts with slaps on the wrists and returns to business as usual. The police don't have a chance against the revolving door.

The Toyota Tundras are the most popular for the thefts. They are easier to get under, the metals are worth more than a lot of other vehicles, it's dual exhaust, and there's two converters on each exhaust. A few seconds with a sawzall and they make off with four converters. I guess you could say that's four birds with two stones. [emoji849]

I deal with this a lot at work. Latest was a 2002 F250 gas motor truck they took the cat and sensor from while parked directly in front of they guy's front door in a heavily-traveled apartment complex. Clean cuts, like from a battery-powered sawzall.

I think they caught the guys that were doing it at Waco and Aquilla.

                  In stealing catalytic converters news……

Make sure the jack will keep holding up the vehicle.

A suspected thief was crushed to death by a Toyota Prius as he was trying to steal its catalytic converter on Wednesday, deputies said.

I was looking at Tundras last month and showed up to test drive one and couldn’t because every one on their lot had been hit. The one I ended up buying already had the cover over them, that dealer said they put them on every truck they get it because it is such a problem.

Back when they were stealing front grills off of cars, the thieves selling to pawn shops, used parts places, etc. Insurance companies began NOT paying on insurance unless you had a receipt on new OEM parts. Stopped it pretty quickly.

                          I hate theives.
