I’m getting close to pulling the trigger on a new Chevy or GMC 2500 diesel. What’s the actual MPG that y’all are getting? What kind of tires are y’all running as well?

Bought a 2020 3500 LWB SRW 4WD LTZ Texas Edition 8 weeks ago...

Turned 11,500 miles today.

Getting 17 +/- empty and 11.5 or so pulling trailers

Love the truck and the power.

I have a 2020 2500 GMC and depending on how I drive it but at 78 on Cruise I can get 20.5. At 85-90 I get about 14-15 and this is how I usually drive.

2020 Chevy 2500 stock tires 17-20mpg

I have a stock 20. 4 wheeler, tools and misc stuff in bed with no trailer...19mpg at 77mph. Made this trip several times... same thing. Hooked up to 16 ft lowboy with atv’s...14mpg same speed. My 16 duramax was about 1mpg better. Hope that helps

Oh I lurk more these days since my employment has changed. I don’t have as much free time but I still keep tabs![emoji51]

I appreciate the feedback. Seems 18 is a reasonable number. Now I just have to decide which model... I’m liking the GMC AT4 but the Chevy LTZ is nice too.
