My wife's step dad went into surgery the Monday after Thanksgiving. A double by pass was completed along with a heart valve replacement. He came out of that surgery extremely well for a 79 year old man.
The issue came up afterwards with his left lung.
Long story short, he passed away last night. A Great Man who has done so much for so many.
My Mother-in-Law, who is fighting breast cancer, is completely lost. She has completed the first 4 of 12 chemotherapy sessions and will follow that with radiation. They were married for almost 30 yrs.
We are about to head to East Texas to be with her. I sm not sure how much more of this I can handle..
Please hug your family a little tighter and for a minute longer during this holiday season. Life is short. Cherish it and Everyone in it.
