Hahahaha. Right. I used to work with a guy who drove one of those faux wheel drives. It had huge tires and a huge lift but was only a two wheel drive. He was as fake as the truck. But he thought that thing was BAD! Always bragging about that thing. Good grief. I don't miss him.

funny! i'm installing a 6" lift with 35" muds on a 2wd tundra at work for a co worker and i keep telling him "just call me and i'll come pull you out" he just laughs....but i'm serious...what a waste of money.

Have him explain to you what good the mud tires up front do. I guess they get some kind of grip while being pushed forward

Years ago, I had a 2wd truck, that I drove all over the ranch with AT tires front, mudgrips on the back.. Never got stuck, but another 3" if clearance would have been helpful. My grandfather always said 4x4 just gets you stuck worse. If it's too soft to drive on, get out and walk.

Different strokes for different folks. For some, 4x4 would be the waste of money.
