Long Day

Man it was a long day on the tractor today. I put in two large food plots. Both are about 250 yards long and 30 yards wide. I spent about 6 hours between running the tractor and throwing 100 pounds of Elbon Rye grass and 100 pounds of oats with a hand crank seeded. Now I need a good rain and several Tylenol’s.

It’s a lot of work but it sure will be nice to watch come November!

I did the same thing Friday. I prepped and broadcast 150 lbs of organic cereal rye. I broadcast 100 lbs of fertilizer this morning and now it's raining.
