Got my target buck just before dark last evening. Throckmorton 10-point @ 28 yards, double lunged. 18-1/4” inside. My best ever.

From that one picture he looks young. If so, if he gets some age, he'll get way bigger bodied, and way heavier horned. Bucks in that part of the world will get plenty thick and heavy.

What have y’all seen in Jack or surrounding counties? We haven’t seen any chasing. Mostly young bucks at the feeder. We’ve seen a few 4.5+ but not many. The coyotes are plentiful.

The weatherman indicates it will still be relatively warm next weekend and the following week but I’ll probably be out here next Saturday-Tuesday. It seems mid November is a good time for us.

They’re starting to chase in Young County. I bet by next week they’ll be going good. Had some young guys already going pretty hard at it. I’m in the stand this AM and just had to doe haul azz across the power line with a buck right on her tail nose down the entire time.

Went last Thursday evening and had feed issues. Got skunked. Went Sunday morning and got skunked. Don’t know what’s going on? They were hitting that feeder hard.
