    I’m in Bastrop Co. and my 6yr old son almost stepped on this guy in the driveway. This is the best pic I got. What do you guys think?

                    Kind of see diamonds and a rattle but hard to tell from pic. Not your fault isnt always easy to get a pic of a moving snake

                      There are only 4 venomous snakes in Tex, Coral Snake, Copperhead, Rattlesnake and Cottonmouth/Water Moccasin. It is easy to tell that that snake is neither of those.

                            I agree with you except that some water moccasins do have a pattern to them. I'd wana see the rest of it before I picked it up.
