I guess since all the tilapia at Fairfield are gone all the netters went there. They were horrible at Fairfield. I miss the bow fishing but I don’t miss messing with them.

Fished that lake many years ago and come to think of it, never ever saw a game warden, saw some monster bass under the light at the boat ramp in the middle of the night. Hopefully this issue gets resolved and tpwd gets it back to where it should be.

Sad deal. Doesn't surprise me about lack of enforcement. The bad part is the lake will get closed ,because the powers that be will get tired of the complaints. Easier to do that than enforce the laws.

Go watch some of these folks fishing at a jetty on the coast. Limits you say? They don’t need no stinkin’ limits. Minimum size limits? Pfffft. If they can catch it it’s dinner.
