    How much rain…..

……did everyone get ? I’m kinda on the low side here but I’m appreciative of every drop. I had 2 1/4” in my gauge. I’d love to hear that everybody who was parched got some much needed rain.

It couldn’t have come at a better time. I need to spray some herbicide and it does better when stuff is growing. This rain should kickstart growth and I’ll probably spray Friday, give it a week, then mow and plant.

1 1/2 at my ranch in western young county. A few miles in every direction got 3 -4 +. It does look like Throckmorton county missed out mostly too.

Right at 2 in here at my house in NW houston.

My 6" gauge at the house overflowed mid morning yesterday so I'm not sure. The lease in the south of Shakelford County got zero, zip, nada. That area gets bypassed a lot for some reason. It is remarkable how many times we've watched a big cell either split and go around us or quickly fizzle right before it gets to us. Everything is still cracks-in-the-ground dry but the creek is up and running strong from heavy rain just up the watershed.

Northwestern Montague County since Saturday night received 6.25" such a blessing! Thank you Lord! Many tanks in the area are 75% to 100% full now so local lakes may now see accumulations with additional rainfall.

1.35" in brock, 2.5" at the lake. Wish it was more but happy for what we got.

At the house here in Fruitvale I had right at 8 inches. My wife talked to a few neighbors by our other place about 6 miles north. One said his gauge showed 6 inches. The other 3 said they had 10 inches.

Clearly the third was photoshopped as the grass was green.
