Painting R-panel?

I'm putting up some used R-panel inside my shop. Can anyone recommend a good paint that won't break the bank?

my first boss build a building our of assorted colors of R-panel and had us spray it with regular latex house paint. I was sure it was a stupid idea but that was in the early 90's and it still looks good

Power wash it, alcohol rub, and oil base paint.

If it's galvanized you may need to etch it so the paint will stick. Most people use cheap fruit vinegar for it.
