Need advice with door

    Ok, so I solved this by putting a 4' level on each length to verify level and review straightness. The door frame was indeed level all of the way around but the top hinge plate was bent in, bending the door frame. I backed the screws out about 1/8" and opened and closed the door several times. Then I checked level and straightness again. It was all true and the dead bolt closed evenly and clearly. Problem was solved by backing the screws out 1/8".

      Easy peasy. Now on to the next project. As a homeowner, I know that isn't the only item on the to do list.
