He’s closer to getting the cab finished. So far new headliner, replaced broken trim and painted all trim. New carpet, door panels, and LED dome light. To finish the cab, we still need to reinstall sun visors. stain, seal and install new steering wheel. clear coat center console, and find camo seat covers that fit. I think he’s done a pretty dang good job so far and it’s starting to not look like a farm truck on the inside.

We probably should have painted the kick panels dark brown instead of tan, but he said no way to taking them out again 😂

That looks great! What’s the plan with the seat?

It’s an old 40/20/40, but we don’t know what it originally came out of. He wants to find a camo seat cover that will fit it well, but he hasn’t been able to find one. I remember seeing a website for a seat cover company that you could send pics of the seat to find what you needed, but I haven’t been able to locate the website again. In the mean time, he’s cleaned them with some upholstery cleaner he ordered. It helped, but he’d really like to find a cover…or an original bench that doesn’t cost a fortune.

I think that is a seat from a 90's Chevy truck. There is a FB group called C10 Parts that often has seats for sale. Your son has found a life time hobby

I would think if it bolted down in the original holes it has to be a GM of some sort? That’s just a guess.

I believe that’s an aftermarket seat.
