Stealthgear, to me it’s hands down the most comfortable.

I finally settled on a Crossbred IWB. But just like the man who consulted me when I had this question told me, the only way to find the right one is to go through a bunch. You will have several that you don’t use before you find the right one.

I have n82 tactical professional IWB, 2 of them for different guns. By far the most comfortable for me. Don't get the OT2. It's almost impossible to reholster without taking it off.

Holsters are like boats. You need more than one.

I have concealment solutions, alien gear, tucker, versa, dsg and one from Wildman when he was around

I have carried most of my life. I use a techni-clip and just clip it to whatever I’m wearing. Sweat pants or gym shorts are no problem. I’m not gonna be in a Wild West quick draw contest and this system is light and I can carry anywhere around my waist

I like my crossbreeds. Have 3 of them . I also have a clinger and a raw dawg or something like that . I have 2 I made myself. I use my crossbreeds all the time unless I’m wearing my overalls. Then it’s my homemade chest holster that snaps inside them .

I have been using Fobus IWB. I like them, but am unable to speak on any others. Fobus is comfy enough, sturdy, and fits my pistols well

I like Versacarry , OWB. But I am usually wearing a sportscoat or jacket when carrying. If I was to carry under a shirt, I would probably be IWB. IMO, IWB seems easier to conceal.

I do. Almost everything else I had was IWB and I wanted a high carry OWB to wear with a jacket or coat.

I stopped in their shop one day and looked around. Nice folks

For IWB I carry a Glock G19 in an Alien Gear on my side. I also dress for my gun. Pants just big enough to allow IWB and shirts to cover and not show (not too tight). Sometimes a tucked Tee with a dress shirt untucked or unbuttoned.
OWB my favorite is one of the Safari Land w/either level II or level III retention with a coat or unbuttoned dress shirt as cover.

And like said, you’ll end up with a drawer full of stuff that’s not quite there…

Mike,
Actually I have the Compound which has the Kydex lining. Technically, no, it's not a retention holster. But I can adjust the screw close to the trigger to hold it securely. The holster is tight enough to retain the gun. I don't run, but if I did, I would probably use a different holster.

I played the holster game for awhile. I settled on the OT2. I had the professional as well but was just a little too bulky. Yes the original is hard to reholster but the clip is thinner, it’s more comfortable to me, and I can worry about reholstering after I diffuse the situation.

OP….do yourself a favor and try it. If you are in the houston area and carry a compact or sub compact I will meet up and let you try it, as the original n82 is universal.

I carry appendix and 2o’clock and can literally sleep in mine.

Everyone is going to like something different. You’ll likely go through a bunch before settling. I don’t use anything other than Tenicor Certum 3s anymore. I have one for all of my guns.

DCC Clips are an absolute must for me.

PHLster Enigma - independent rig that straps to the body. I do recommend adding the sport belt.

One of the nice things about Tenicor is that you can return for a full refund or exchange for a different model at any time. You can buy a holster from them, carry it for a year, find something you like better and simply return it.

I’ve tried a ton of holsters and I’ve settled on TXC holsters for appendix carry. They are made here in Texas. For my body type they are the most comfortable. I use an upper hand holster owb when I’m wearing a suit or sport coat.

Yes.

I have exchanged a holster and returned a holster

Their holsters are great and their customer service is incredible. If you decide you want a refund or a different holster, they will ship/issue as soon as you contact them. They don't even wait to get the old holster back.

I normally buy Eclipse Delta holsters. I have three total and the last holster I bought looked the same off of ebay for 1/3 the price. It is now never used and I ended up buying another Eclipse holster. IMO unless it is OWB then spend the money with a repeatable company.

I’d suggest a kydex holster of some sort.

For concealed carry, I carry Appendix In-Waist Belt.

I use two holsters, depending on the carry I’m using: for Glock carry I use a Tenicor holster with the loops (the normal clips tore up my jeans)
For P365 carry, I use a Vedder holster.

You didn’t ask, but OWB carry (walking at the ranch, I use a Safariland holster with a thumb retention.

Yes, OWB I use a Blackhawk paddle holster, a CQC holster.

I am not a fan of Krydex/plastiic, personally. No real reason, just a choice. All mine are all leather and I have quite a few, both IWB and OWB.

That being said, I just ordered a Crossbreed ‘The Reckoning’ for my brother.

Can can be converted for either IWB or OWB. He wasn’t sure what he would prefer seeing he has never carried. This allows him to do either, or switch between.

Pretty cool concept, and Crossbreed supports my dad’s Semper Fi Society group every year.
