My father in law needs to sell a really nice shotgun. Thought it was going to be mine, but things change and he needs med bill money. It's a brand new in the case, never fired Browning Citori Grade VI Japan Moroku 12ga.
Blue book says $5k and I was offered $3500 from a dealer. There are 3 small scuffs on the stock, 2 you cant really see without a magnifying glass, and the 3rd is very small as well. Looks like it could easily buff out since its not through the clear coat. Basically I was told the actual value would be somewhere around $4200.
I guess my question is, does anybody have any experience buying or selling these? Is $4200 a fair asking price? I was really thinking it was worth more. Thanks for any help!
